Bio | Fyusha

Fyusha is a Vietnamese-American artist based in the SF Bay Area whose digital works give form to an inner world she calls the "Child Spirit." She named her project "Fyusha" after the solitary hue absent from the visible spectrum of light, a fitting choice for her surreal, vibrant, and imaginative illustrations.

Fyusha has expanded her practice into digital projection and video animation, creating live visual sets for touring artists and music videos for musicians and composers including Clarice Jensen, S'HELLS GATE, Marielle V. Jakobsons, and Chuck Johnson. Her work has been presented at Gray Area and Cone Shape Top, released through Thrill Jockey Records, and supported by the SF Arts Commission, CalArts Council, API Cultural Center, and Asian Improv Arts.

She holds a Bachelor's in Studio Art with an emphasis in painting and drawing from San Francisco State University.
